Media Intern

Job Summary

KORE Venture is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and equipping young inheritors (ages 18-35) to navigate the complexities of wealth with a supportive peer community through character and relationship focused programming. KORE Venture’s vision is to see young inheritors provide leadership for families, contribute to society, and gain clarity, confidence, and the conviction to pursue their unique path in life.

KORE Venture is looking for a media intern to provide video, photography, and media production services for domestic and international events, programs, and marketing materials. He/She will work directly with the Communications Specialist and Program Manager.

As the media intern will be required to be on site for events and programs, he/she will need to be available to travel domestically and internationally* in 2021 to the following locations and within the time frames below:

  • March 12-14: Jupiter, FL, USA
  • May 14 – 26: Quincy, CA, USA
  • July 2 – 13: Oxford, UK
  • August 14 – 21: Salzburg, Austria

*Covid permitting

 

Responsibilities

  • Videography & photography for KORE Venture Kickstarter weekends and other in-person events.
  • Videography & photography for KORE Venture Immersive residentials.
  • Edit & produce KORE Conversations interviews.
  • Draw out stories from events, programs, and participants to illustrate organizational impact.
  • Work with Communications Specialist to edit and produce video, visual and written content for websites, social media, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist and coach Immersive participants in final exercise to put together a media project sharing their own story.
  • Work with an international and remote team.
  • Organize and manage media assets.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong proficiency in photography and videography, with an eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in industry level video and photo editing software.
  • Organized, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A narrative focused approach to video and media.
  • Proactive in seeking out and contributing ideas for how to better market the program.
  • Independent work ethic.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt as situations change.
  • Experience working with international and ethnically diverse individuals and groups is a plus.
